The Minister of Shipping, Sh. G.K. Vasan said this in a written reply in Lok-Sabha to-day as reported by various major ports in India there is no incident of marine animals dying due to handling and movements of hazardous items at major ports. Handling and movements of cargo is done complying with rules regulations and other international conventions as per IMDG (International Maritime Dangerous Goods) code.
